The Railway Children walk is a 6 mile circular walk that follows the many locations where the famous E.Nesbit story was filmed. It also discovers the village of Haworth and showcases the industrial heritage of the area.  

 Being a circular walk there are several places from where the walk can start and finish. Our walk will start with a meet up at the bandstand in Haworth Park and start from Haworth Railway Station. For the benefit of those who feel unable to walk the full six miles, a shorter walk option of 21/2 miles (4km) down to Oakworth Station also starts at Haworth Station. We will be starting from the bandstand in Haworth Park at 10.30AM on Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May, finishing back at the bandstand were there will be a limited number of free copies of the story the Railway Children signed by our Patron, Actress Jenny Agutter OBE.
